Main Floor: So Close to Completion! (Office, Living Room, Trim)
It's been a while since I posted the final Kitchen pictures, but with the holiday season, taking a job as a residential painter for a few months, and having an atrociously long-lasting cold that affected us both well into January, it took us some time to finish the downstairs. And it's not even done! My next post, hopefully, will be an in-depth piece about our accent wall! First things first... The New Office! Here is the old office (upstairs) and below is the space (downstairs) where the new office was plotted. Part of my dream for the main floor was to move the office downstairs with the pocket doors I'm always rambling about. As well as a better situation for my books. This picture is from 2012, when we replaced the carpet and added the accent wall. Since then it accumulated some black cabinets, a filing cabinet, a smaller filing cabinet, a window valence, a better chair, and another bookshelf, but I never took photos of it as it was always messy.
